The Latin American Immigration Association (LAIA) is the nation’s only Latino-focused, immigration industry trade association dedicated to providing quality education, training, support, advocacy and networking opportunities to immigration service professionals nationwide. Our students, members and supporters come from all segments of immigration service practitioners, including immigration forms preparers, immigration attorneys, immigration paralegals, and BIA authorized organizations, church groups and individuals. Our organization serves and welcomes all individuals and groups who are dedicated to serving their communities with valuable immigrations forms services regardless of ethnicity or culture.
Appleseed organizes, supports and connects Appleseed Centers. It provides start-up funding and staffing assistance, and recruits leadership to get new Centers off the ground. Additionally, Appleseed identifies and secures funding for local Centers and organizes them around national collaborative projects in its core issue areas of education, financial access, and immigrant rights. On an ongoing basis, Appleseed helps promote Center work, serves as a clearinghouse, and provides training and technical assistance, particularly in the areas of communications and development.
